I live in Canada's sun belt around 42 degrees north. Both Cochranes are
at around 50 degrees NORTH! That means you will be cold. Bring the
woolies
old boy cos you're gonna need them!
I can't imagine what you'd be electrofishing up there for. Better you
should bring along a rod and reel and get into a little shore lunch.
As for seeing bush, yeah up in those parts you're going to see little
else besides miners, lumberjacks and bush! Geez wish I was going with
you! ;-)
From where I live it's about 420 miles in a straight line but that
translates
to around 9 hours by car. Maybe you were right in saying a few extra
days in Canada was a disaster!
Have big fun! Actually the fall colours should be very nice that time
of year!
