Hi Peter,Bruce,Rhonda etc.
Yes, I have been reading most of it. Unfortunatly, I'd be way out of
my league if I joined in for real on this one. Not only do I not have
enough expirience as a hobyist, I don't qualify as a scientist either
(although I probably know more than the average layman = just enough to
be wrong but be convinced I'm right ;) ), and I have never been to Oz.
I have to agree with Peter though about there being a lot of angles on
this and that while being on the same side of the fence you seem to be
missing each other. Of course, no offence, you two (Peter and Bruce)
seem to be about as stuborn as a 100yr old tree stump ;). I have
absolutely no room to talk about that, I am my fathers son after all
:). I do know some of the disasters that have occured for better or
worse here in Florida and I feel that if you can avoid them there it
would be in everyones best interest. If you really want my input I
think that we all agree that if the public were educated, introduction
of nonindidginous(sp?) species would be much LESS likley. After all,
goldfish probably make really good baramundi(is that right?) bait, but
if they (the Goldfish) get away we know what can happen, but does the
fisherman know? Of course you are going to find assholes that just
don't care, but most would IMHO. Well I'll let you guys(and gals) hash
this around some more, let me know when you come up with a 100% solution
;) I know I'd just jump up and down for joy if you did :)
