As for distributing the fish, why couldn't ANGFA or the RSG subsidize
the
purchase of a box o' fish to be divided up between "designated"
breeders?
Sure, you'd have to establish some criteria as to who would be qualified
It would benefit ANGFA and the RSG to have these fish more readily
available at a
lower price. I'm not looking for self wiping paper as you so eloquently
put it
I'm offering an idea on how to get the fish out there. If it has flaws
then let's
see what else can be done. It just seems to me that there are going to
be a few species go by the wayside unless the issue is addressed.
Perhaps
as you say it's not ANGFA's role to worry about this. I just think
someone
should be concerned, that's all.
Instead of designated breeders how about a syndicate? I'm thinking out
loud here to find an answer - how about it? Anyone out there interested
in forming a syndicate to make a purchase from Roy et al and then
trading amonst ourselves? Roy ( and others) has a ton of great stuff. As
a group we could help him out and also help ourselves and the other
members as well. I see a win/win for everybody involved.
