Well, I'm not ashamed to say I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted it,
and gave up on it.

I take it that this means that ulcers are highly contagious? I can't think
of anyone I know locally that hasn't had a couple of fish die of ulcers at
some time or another - usually not as bad as I had with M. herbertaxelrodi.
What is the current state of knowledge pertaining to ulcers in Rainbowfish?
The last I heard was that they were caused by a combination bacteria/virus
thing and that there was no sure cure. That was a couple of years ago, granted.
