While on the subject of M.herbertaxelrodi, in 1982 a well known and
respected aquarium dealer in Melbourne (who is still there today) was
selling Weipa trifasciata as M.herbertaxelrodi.
This is why it is also very important to known the history of your fish
stocks and how important it is to keep records.
I think it is very important that at any auctions sanctioned by ANGFA that
each bag is label with the source, breeder etc,etc.
Do you know where your fish came from?
