I am told that soaking plants in a gallon of water with a dissolved
tablespoon of alum for 20 minutes will take out leaches, snails and some
diseases. The only tricky part is making sure the alum is dissolved in a jar
of warm water and added to the gallon first. Does anyone know if it would
stop Myco.?

Has anyone tried a bleach rinse (where the plants survived)?

All the best,
