Hi all,

Some of you may be interested in this.
We did a little late afternoon surveying last Sunday in a creek which flows
into the Hastings River (near Wauchope, mid north coast NSW), and
collected, amongst other things, some M.duboulayi. There appeared to be a
reasonably healthy population, with many juvenile fish darting around in
the shallows. To my knowledge, this is the first time they have been
collected this far south, the previous known range extending down to the
Wilson River.
We will do some more sampling in other streams around the area over the
next few months to try to assess their spread.

Regards,
Jennifer.
