I think there are a few brands that are close its just a matter of reading
the labels. Quick Cure is or was fairly close. Its too messy trying to mix
the chemicals yourself. Even if the active levels are below that stated
above you can still use the product. You just have to do the calculations of
the active ingredients from the label. To calculate the dose rate of a
chemical required in a given volume of water the formula is:
Dose rate = (required ppm multiplied by litres of water to be treated)
divided by percent of active ingredient.
Somewhere in the archives Gary Lange gave an easy way of doing the calculations?
