[RML] Blood Worms

Dear RMLites,
Can anybody tell me a bit about bloodworms? From time to time I
set up a bucket of water to grow some mosquito wrigglers. Depending
on how much organic matter I put in the water I will either get
wrigglers or bloodworms. The fish love them both but I just wondered
what kind of critter the bloodworms are before and after they are in
the bucket.
