I had 3 males and 5 females in a well planted aquarium (it may be too small
though). I just notice that one (female) was really looking rundown, having
trouble swimming, even a bit of drooping posterior portion of the body. I
had hoped that it was a death I could put out as natural causes. I reasoned
that females may not last too long because they get abused (spouse) or
physiologically most of the energy intake is converted to eggs. However,
I am now suspecting that it may be a bacterial infection. Any ideas? TIA.
