It's a question of votes and money... there are (so I am told) three million
"Danglers" and a dozen or so serious anglers in Australia - any action
against trout would be political suicide... It would be like banning those
repulsive Goldfish ;-).

But you may rest assured that wherever there are trout around here (ACT)
there are no Galaxids worth counting...
