It really depends alot as to where the fish lives as to what they can
tolerate. I've had tatei down to about 3oC overnight and fluviatilis
have been reported down to ~4oC with a couple of losses I think. Some
inornata and australis will probably also take temps down around 5-6oC,
but again, one from the Jardine River will probably not have quite the
same low tolerance as one from the Flinders River. I messed around with
some NG fish like lacustris, boesmani and mulitsquamata and they will all
take it down to about 13oC but for how long I don't know. NG fish
typically don't have the same upper temperature tolerance as the Oz fish
either. I reckon most NG fish are safe for brief periods down to
at least 15oC and Oz fish down to 10oC. Culls make really good test
animals if you wanna experiment.
