Yes, this is their 25th year so they've really outdone themselves this time.
I plan on NOT drinking too much until after the talks are over.
Unfortunately they have competing speakers which sometimes makes me want to
be at two talks at the same time! The lineup for March 17-19th. For more
info see Janine Banks dbanks at together.net or email me and I will send the
whole package including hotel info. Chuck Davis is a "fat" Dr. Bruce and is
a laugh a minute. Chuck labels himself "fat" so that's not a putdown, he's
A-1. Claus speaks remarkably good english and if you like plants this is
the place to be as the aquatic gardeners will be there. Ginny is Ginny, god
help us. The last time Lee Finley was MC he came out dressed as Hugh Hefner
for the banquet! Wonder if he'll bring those twins?? Stuart Grant is
rarely in the US and with Liebel and Konings the three can pass as the
"three wise men" for Chiclet nuts. I haven't seen Johnson's talk or
LaCorte's. Rosario's talk is touted to be excellent though. I think Ad is
going to be doing a new book signing at one of the local petstores on
Friday. If you don't like to stay up late you'll miss half the
entertainment! You'll need to go back to work to get some rest! Plan to
show up early on friday (noon) to get it all. Auction on Sunday.
