My understanding is similar to Rhonda's. The articles are the intellectual
property of the author and they have given us permission to use them for
the usual club purposes - namely publication in the club journal and
promotion of the club's activities. We believe we owe our authors the
courtesy of right of refusal to be reprinted elsewhere.
By directing thse requests through the journal co-ordinator it saves the
author being bothered more than a minimal number of times.
As an unofficial policy we have tended in the past not to permit reprints
from current volumes.
