I don't know of any South American Archerfish - the only other species I
have heard of are T. blythi and T. microlepis both of which are from SE
Asia - according to the revision by Gerald Allen some years back.

The South American archers from my experence dont squirt that often.
I got a face full at St. Kilda Aquarium when I was in Melbourne. The
Australian archers know an American when they see one!
