Usually around 7.5-7.8. Our water is pumped into a water tower before being
gravity feed into the surrounding area and generally has a lower level of
free chlorine because of the storage time in the water tower (I suspect).
However, the BCC is replacing a lot of mains pressure pipes around Brisbane
at the moment and I think they are supplementing the free chlorine levels
in the system.
