I always thought that being a telemarketer would be one of the worst jobs in
the world. I
am not in sales currently, but have been in the past, and cold calls would have
to be the
worst. Plus, people hate being bothered at home and feel like their privacy is
being
invaded, etc. I always try and be as nice to them as I can because I can
understand what
a tough job it must be. But, many times the polite "No, thanks" just don't get
through
and you have to hang up.
PS -- One thing about Spam Cop is that you can only complain about spam
messages that were
sent in the last three days. I assume this to keep the complaints up to date.
