Basically we only need enough people with ChanOp status to run our chat
sessions in safety. I do believe that because one attends regularly one
doesnt need to be auto Opped. Basically Ops are only offered as needed, I
regularly partake in a certain channel that has a few Ops. I don't need
Ops there as the protection is adequate. ChanOp status there has never,
and may never be offered to me. This is not a problem.
ChanOp is *not* a status symbol, merely protection for regular users. If
ChanOps aren't required then they will not be offered, this is not a
personal thing!
Rest assured you wil be adequately 'picked on' when you return the
following week.
