Isn't it too late to do anything once that has occured? The whole idea of
the kind of legislation you are talking about is to prevent species that
are likely to establish in the Australian environment from having any
opportunity to do so. Sure, there are lots of hypocracies in this, ie
guppies and swordtails because they are so popular but that's life.
