There may still be an ANGFA but it will be a rather hollow version of it's
former self
and even "Gudgeon Lovers" like Peter Unmack will be saddened by the loss of
support for native fish :-)

I would hope that any possible negative outcome could only come as a result
of production of convincing data on dangers that we are not aware of ( a
fairly
remote possibility hopefully). If there are convincing reasons for banning
then I
hope these are well publicised to educate potential "smugglers" and perhaps
deter them (whether their motive is pleasure or profit)
I still believe that legal importation is the desirable pathway for all
concerned
and we should be trying our hardest to get this as the outcome.
