My word! I wasn't aware there was anyone on this list other wise I=20
would of said something earlier. I put this list together a while =
back=20
before I got busy and totally forgot about it!

Wow, there are 5 members already!

Well, welcome Andrew and Albert and who ever else is there. I=20
guess this means I am going to have to go back to work on the list=20
and perhaps give more thought to a webpage...

I currently have a "pr" of L. occellatus "gold", a pr of daffodils =
and a=20
group of four Telmatochromis vittatus which has one very busy=20
female.

The vittatus have given me two brood already. They are shell=20
dwellers (my favourite...). her second brood's size was +/-35 fry=20
and was free swimming after 3 weeks. The tank's temp was 25oC.=20
pH>7 and reasonably hard (angelfish eggs frost over in the tank=20
from the Calcium deposits).

My fish are in 1.2 m tank which doubles as a fry raising tank so at=20
any one time there is a shoal of guppies, rainbow fish etc... I=20
currently have 30 boesemani and a small shoal of guppies with=20
slightly hagged fins. Everyone gets on fine. The vittatus is some=20
what aggro but never hurt anyone. The daffodils were another story.=20
They got too aggro for the tank and now live in the filter=20
compartment which constitutes1/4 of the tank. They still try to get=20
at the other fish thought the glass. They got on fine for a time but =

then the male started excivating a cave... The female joined in and=20
an I jumped to move them before I had daff babies and a about 100=20
peices of rainbowfish all over the tank.
Winter than came... and my 300 W Tronic heater is not playing the=20
game (I don't recommend Tronic heater ever to anyone). I'm really=20
struggling to keep the water temp near 26oC so the daffs have bot=20
spawned yet much like every one else.

My affair with Tanganikans started with a pr of Neolamprologus=20
calliurus. They were swell and I sorely miss them.

Tanganyikan rock! and are almost better than killies.:-)

Bye
