I guess you guys need a bit of cold weather over there to take the heat off
your President :-) It is nice and hot and humid here in Brisbane at
present - I went for a paddle in Seary's Creek yesterday and it was flowing
well from recent rains and the fish looked as beautiful as ever BUT the
powers that be have constructed an 8 car ashphalted carpark at the top of
the path including one disabled parking spot to allow tourists to hop down
for a swim and add to the "natural appeal" of the site :-(
Sorry fish - looks like the endangered Pigmy Perch and Honey Blue-eyes will
be a bit more so from now on.
