Couldn't find that species in any of my literature either. But Oxyeleotris sp.
are found in NG. Among them: O.aruensis, .fimbriata, .gyrinoides, .hewerdenii
etc. Nine in all listed in Allen's Freshwater Fishes Of New Guinea. A nice
little book that you should add to your library ROY!
