Hi all

I agree completely with Rhonda. With the exception of breeding tanks,
where snails can and do eat the eggs of many fish, they are great to have
in tanks... even (gasp!) the cone ones. ;) When I need to keep them
under control, I use Botias. There are spp of these fish for almost every
tank size/fish community. They usually don't erradicate the snails (for me
at least), but they do keep them at manageable levels.

I also have much better luck w/ my plants when there *are* snails in the
tanks. :)
