Oh no you shouldn't have told me that, now, after living in uncovered tanks for
a year, I suppose they will start jumping out. :) Honestly I still think my
rainbows are jumpier, just the other day I was moving some Giddy tris out of
the living room back into a bigger tank in the fish room. I used about a 4
gallon bucket, half full with the tank water they were in, then netted the fish
into it. I dragged it back to the fish room and set it on the floor, went to
finish getting the other tank a water change before I put the tris back in it.
Then went to fetch the bucket. On my way across the room, with the bucket
(probably about 6 to 8 feet of space), I had a stupid fish jump out on to the
floor 3 times. Luckily they all lived and are doing fine in the other tank but
geez. :)
Not that I'm sure this hasn't been covered to death, but umm I suppose there is
no way in the world that anyone in the US might know of any M. adspersa that
might somehow be accessable. It just bothers me to no end that the 2 I have
here of Peters (hmm, these fish have been here a long time it's getting harder
to think of them as not being mine. :) will never be spawned and that will be
the end of them in this country. Any ideas from anyone.
