Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I have a 3' by 18" by 16" tank
with about 15 swordplants, 2 lrg anubius', some bolbitus and a heap of
val floating around on the surface. This was my "holding tank" (because
it has a slow leak in it) for some of my plants after my recent shift.
Into it went about two dozen P gertrudae from the Olive Rv. (Eastern
Cape York, north of the Pascoe Rv system). Since then I have a dozen or
so fry hovering around the plant matter at the top of the tank. So far
(about 3 weeks later) 3 individuals have survived and now are 10mm long
with another 3 5-8mm long.

So far I don't mind :-) them breeding themselves.
