Not to the best of my knowledge, at least not under natural conditions,
40-41oC is the hottest it has been recorded at. If you have literature
stating otherwise I would be interested in hearing about it.

Remember too that the desert goby is Chlamydogobius eremius and not the
other 4 species found in Central Australia.
