Don't know about P. furcatus (too expensive here in Hawaii), Needed
something longlived that I could depreciate over several years.

However, The ethernet over cable system/cable modems, work quite
well most of the public schools and Hawaii department of Education are
using this system for accessing the internet. I am thinging about it my
self. It should be available next year. However we are looking at $20-40
per month flat rate. The prices you are seeing seem to be kinda high.
