Many of also play around with plants as well as the Bows, so if there are
particular plants you are after, let us know as well. I know there's tons of
really great locally-grown stuff I can get here in Portland (OR). I'd bet
others have similar access.
What part of the country will you be moving to? We might have a list member
or two near there who can help with bows, and thus save some of the shipping
hassles. Rainbows aren't the strongest when it comes to handling shipping
stress, so the closer the source for fish the better. Eggs are a bit
tougher, and many of us can ship you those. The only species I currently
have cooperating is M. trifasciata from Upper Coen River. They are throwing
out lots of eggs. I do have fry but they are still in "sliver" stage.
Hopefully they will be ready to go by fall. If you will have access to a few
smaller tanks and wish to get some eggs I will be more than happy to help.
