Hello All,
Just wanted to make a quick introduction. My name is Chris Brightwell; I'm
a marine scientist and the head of research and development for Kent Marine,
a manufacturer of various aquarium products for the hobby. I've been a
hobbyist for over 25-years, maintaining aquaria of all descriptions. I have
a special interest in marine systems, as well as freshwater planted systems,
and rainbowfishes are among my favorite group of fishes. I currently live
in New York, but will be moving within the next few weeks to a location
where I'm planning on setting up a 225-gallon planted system, which will be
stocked nearly exclusively with rainbows. Hopefully some of the US-based
members of this forum are breeding various species and I can arrange to
purchase some of them.
As for my contributions to the site, my area of expertise lies within water
chemistry, so I can offer some help whenever someone has a question on this
subject. Just to clarify, I'm about the most un-biased person I know in
this industry, so don't worry that I'm going to be suggesting our products
to you at any time. Looking forward to reading the messages.
