Project Seahorse

This international conservation programme seeks to fill the following five
year post-doctoral positions (equivalent experience may be acceptable).
All need independence, flexibility, and strong interpersonal and
organisational skills.

Special Projects Co-ordinator
Develop and implement special activities to support conservation and
management of seahorses and their relatives. Located at McGill University,
Canada.

Aquarium Research Co-ordinator
Develop and co-ordinate research on husbandry and management of seahorses
and their relatives, especially by public aquaria. Located at Shedd
Aquarium, USA.

Aquaculture Research Co-ordinator
Guide developing country teams in advancing small-scale low-technology
seahorse aquaculture. Based at the Zoological Society of London, UK, and
located in Asia.

Deadline for all applications: 23 October 1998. This closing date has
been extended because of bureaucratic issues relating to advertising and
immigration rules.
