[acn-l] Seeking selected livebearer information

I am new to this list and appreciate the opportunity to get to know some of
you out there with co-conservation concerns. Right now, however, I'd like
to try to find out something about two inter-related matters.

1) I'd like to know if anyone can tell me if either or both of the following
live bearing fish are on an endangered or near-endangered list:

a) Ameca splendens (Butterfly Goodeid)

b) Gambusia affinis (Mosquitofish)

and

2) if these are not any the above mentioned lists, can anyone tell me where
I might obtain some. I should like to try breeding these fish.
