No doubt having these fish get loose in North America would be bad nows.
However, my nightmare is seeing this creature added to the portmanteau biota
of aquaculture species that have already eliminated every native fish from
the central highlands of Madagascar and doing their level best to complete
the job in the coastal lowlands! Under the circumstances, there is a LOT to
be said for a pre-emptive strike. I wonder how many gallons of rotenone
would be required to do a proper job of proactive management?
