I placed an order with Carolina Biological for some Haematococcus pluvialis
microalgae culture. It *is* a freshwater beastie, and so should be
straightforward to culture.

I plan on using my normal method of greenwater cultivation (basically a 3
gallon aquarium with aeration and a lot of light, along with 'Micro-Algae
Grow' by Florida Aqua Farms for food; works great for me). I also have
daphnia magna and moina macropa cultures going too, which I could feed the
microalgae to.
I hope my normal greenwater cultivation method works, since, from the
picture at Cyanotech's site <http://www.cyanotech.com/algaepond.html>, this
is more of a 'redwater' culture.
