My Wanamensis are a combination of two sources: fish from Kevin Hosmer
who got his stock from Jorge Sanchez in a trade some years ago and
fish that a buddy of mine bought from Wet Thumb when they first had
them which is about 10 + years ago. These fish breed true, so while
their history is not completely known, I feel very confident in
advertising
them as the true wanamensis.
PNG and IJ fish are the ones with the weakest historical data. There are
some exceptions but I'm sure Mr. Bleher could recall most of that info.
