Not to be the one that retards progress but I'm not CURRENTLY in favour of
getting an IRC for the simple reason that the rml allows each of us to read the
postings and offer well thought out and measured responses;-) The immediacy of
an IRC may well lead to things said that are better left unsaid. While that
certainly occurs now, I feel that an IRC would exacerbate this phenomenon.

ps. either noone caught it or you are all being too kind but, my Gertrudaes are
not 32cms long rather they're 3.2cm SL.this is still not as large as the 3.8cm
growth suggested in Allen's book
