<<I show bows in my local club's show every year. Some bows can be shown
fairly easily while others need to be really babied in order to show
well. What I mean about being babied is bringing their same tank water
from home and preferably their whole tank. I haven't had much luck
with tri's coloring up in time if I haven't done both. But a planted
tank seems to help them get accustomed to the new environment better.
Last year they finally got happy the day after judging :~)>>

Also remember it is embarassing for the poor judge who downpoints them at
judging only to find them looking brilliant the next day, far better than
the official winners who now are starting to shimmy a bit and come down
with white spot. But then that's all part of the "rich tapestry" of fish
keeping.
