<How else (meaning genetics) can one determine cryptic species? (ie those
< which are indistinguishable morphologically but yet don't interbreed, ie,
<they have genetically different non interbreeding sympatric populations).
<Genetic studies come in very handy in these cases.
Indeed I'm working in such a case, in livebearers. You will soon find
out that these cryptic species are very close also genetically but may
be distinguished in behaviour. At least they live in different ecological
niches and you have to find out these.
