Can I suggest that you join ANGFA Qld. which holds regular bimonthly
meetings in Clayfield in Brisbane. There are a lot of people who have been
collecting in a lot of places and who can give you tips on where, the best
species, and how to legally catch them. And (importantly) how to get them
home alive.
URL is www.angfaqld.org.au
Also I can strongly recommend going ANGFA national as well.
www.angfa.org.au
With both organisations you receive a newletter and a glossy journal (from
ANGFA national). I can vouch that these publications were a boon to myself
when I joined in the early 90's.
If you have any questions, please ask.
Regards
Graeme Finsen
