G'day Peter,

You might check with John Boyland JKBoylan at aol.com He was the only one that
seemed to be able to keep them alive. I didn't keep enough live foods
around for them and lost them years ago. Other than that I don't know. If
you find another source for sure see the fish before you do the DNA as there
are people who think tenellus or even signifer are mellis.

I've been meaning to blip you, sorry for the delay. Got the book on
Tuesday! Thank you. It's been pretty busy around here but I have read the
first 10 pages or so. Some of this I remember from your talks & bits &
pieces from email so it's nice to see in one place. Did I miss it on the
RML, did you let everyone know that it was published? If that's a bit like
tooting your own horn, might I tell them for you? Where can copies be had?
Don't want to tell them about it w/o telling them where to get it. Man,
still want to get some of those Dalhousie fish. Also need a good keeper of
gobies over here, the morgurndas and the different desert types. Kind of
hard to find people who actually breed and keep fish in any quantity
anymore. They either die, get divorced (and trash all of their fish) or
just burn out and quit. Hope all is well with you.

cheers,

gary

Subject: [RML] honey blue eyes

G'day folks

Is there anyone out there who has a known locality of honey blue that they
could spare me a couple of so I can sequence them? If so please contact me
off list at peter.unmack at asu.edu.

Thanks
Peter
