For those of you in the US that were following the Astaxanthin conversation a
few weeks ago: I now have some available for $5/ ounce post paid (US only). It
will be in an airtight seal-a-meal bag, you'll have to repackage it into an
airtight container when you open it. This is from an algae source - and is 2%
Astaxanthin, about the higher percentage available. It's a very fine powder
not unlike Spirulina. It's fine enough to feed to newborn rainbowfish fry so
you can easily alternate with APR or Spirulina. Really is dramatic in the way
that it brings out the natural reds and oranges in the bows at an early age.
It can also be used to feed newly hatched brine shrimp which can then be fed to
your fish. If you use this with a homemade food it would be a good method for
feeding it to your larger rainbows.

For those of you that have also had problems getting hold of APR I have that
packaged the same way for $4/ounce post paid. Both products are good first
foods for your rainbowfish fry. If you are interested please contact me off
list and I will give you further details.
