Praecox , if nothing else are precocious (surely that isn't how they got
their name).
They seem to be sexually mature ( ready, willing and able) at the 1" TL mark
or even smaller which is probably the smallest for rainbowfishes. Generally
if they are sexable then they will soon be breedable.
