Welcome to the list Shamus :) We are always looking for "fresh blood".
As Merlin stated there is a lot of spam on the list, there are a lot of
pretty good net acquaintances here and they like to kidd around. The
key is either to hit delete, or jump in and have some fun. The
information given out here is possibly some of the best you are likely
to find anywhere though, we probably have some of the most outstanding
bow keepers in the world on the list (IMHO). These folks love to talk
once you get them started, so ask away, don't be shy.
