Yes it is a simple DIY system. A 2 litre fruit juice bottle with a hole
burned in the lid to tightly fit airline that then is inserted into the
venturi of the powerhead of the sponge filter.
Every 2 weeks I clean the bottle and add 2 cups of sugar, 1 tsp of dry
yeast, 1 tsp of bicarb and fill to 2 inches from the top with warm water
and shake before screwing the lid on tightly. Then stand back and watch
them grow.
