Actually I was refering to crypts native to Australia. From the
responses, I guess none are actually native but a few have been
released into the wild. My idea is to convert a few of my planted
aquaria with Oz rainbows to having only Oz native plants. I guess I'm
trying to get that true biotope effect with out any cheating by using
plants from other areas. Its just a little difficult to find out which
plants grow there. Most plant books don't seem to mention Australia. I
do presently have about 8 species of crypts in my tanks and was
curious if any were native to Oz.
