Dianne's problem - or perhaps we should say her Rainbowfish problem :-)
could well be a limited form of Ulcer Disease and her husbandry is helping
to keep it controlled because the water quality is good etc

It can exist in less virulent forms like any other infection. The big
problem is that this fish may be seeding the other inhabitants with
organisms for later manifestation.
