Hi Harro,

the Clove Oil suggestion is a good one.

For Aussies, you can get high quality Clove Oil in wholesale quantities
from http://www.newdirections.com.au (and no, I am not on a kickback
from them, I know of them because they are our wholesale suppliers for
oils and incense ingredients).

And if you are of an experimental bent - New Directions also sell
Cajeput Oil in quantity (Cajeput being one of Mother Nature's other high
LD50 favourites - also used from memory in a herbal stresscoat
equivalent - good quality Cajeput is very close in toxicity to Hemlock
Oil). But there are poisons and poisons - you don't want something that
kills the fish in excrutiating agony - and I've never used Cajeput Oil
to kill something I cared about, so it might be worth sticking to the
tried and tested Clove Oil.

And if Oils aren't your thing - you can always use the freezer (despite
the dire warnings in the referred article, I still believe that this is
more humane than the old 'heel and toe' method).

Best regards, Andrew
