Hi Michael,

if you want to ship them separately you have to pay normal IATA tarif. That
may be expensive. If you take them with your normal luggage, it's not so
much. In Germany they may ask you for a veterinary testate. You surely go to
Frankfurt. If you have no such testate you may declare why. They have their
own veterinaries and it may cost you some bucks (up to 100 DEM maybe).
However, generally that's no problem.

Will you keep on translating when you're in Munich?

To all you Germans out there:
I will relocate to Munich early next year and I'm wondering if it is worth
the bureaucratic hassles to bring my not-so rare 'bows to Germany.
Can anyone help me with what's required (permit wise), ideas on shipping
costs, etc?
