My 15 day dose regime was:
150 milligram Micobutin per 10 gallon.
50% water change 5 days latter

Enclosed is a photo of the cured fish.
Clearly visible is a brown vertical scar that was
scarlet red, with a white shedding border,
raised from the fish body surface by about 2 mm.
This fish was lethargic and seeking darkness
bellow the filter box at the beginning of treatment.
Fish is now back to his usual youthful one year old self,
and has been so for one month without any signs of recurrence.
The scar is now flat or level with the fish body surface.
Mycobutin is very expensive $4.50 US per 150 mg capsule.
I have also successfully treated 3 other fish at the beginning
of sores, that is when they had gray "pine cone" raised scale growth,
of about 2 mm diameter.
1 fish with advanced growth on the tail died after 5 days.
1 fish with half black head, one fin paralyzed; no effect.
