[RML] Blending swimming pools with fish ponds

Dear RML,
On a couple of occasions I have seen items on this list that refer to
methods of filtering swimming pools so that fish can live in them but that
allow for a fair amount of pool usage without risking the health of the
human pool users.

For a number of years now I have had a 10000 litre pond that I would "swim"
in occasionally, but I may be about to buy a house with a swimming pool and
the temptation to keep Rhads and blue-eyes in it is overwhelming. Growing a
few of my favourite plants in it would be nice.
Being an actual swimming pool means that everyone is going to want to swim
in it too.

Any pointers or ideas would be appreciated.
